Privacy policy
This English version is provided for convenience only. The German Datenschutzerklärung is the sole legally binding version.
This privacy policy explains which personal data we process when you visit schukow.eu or write to us by email.
Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Schukow GmbH, represented by its managing directors, Katja Schukow and Wladimir Schukow. Our postal address, email address and register details are given in the legal notice.
We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not legally required to do so.
This website
This website consists of static pages. There are no user accounts and no contact forms. We do not use analytics or tracking tools, we do not show advertising, and we do not embed social media plugins or any other third-party content. The fonts are hosted locally and delivered together with the website, so no connection is made to Google or any other font service.
Hosting and delivery via Cloudflare
This website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare’s content delivery network (CDN). The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.
Each time you visit, Cloudflare processes the data required to deliver the pages and keep the website secure: your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the previously visited page (referrer) and information about your browser and operating system (user agent). We ourselves have no access to log data on individual visitors.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing this website securely, reliably and quickly, including protecting it against attacks and misuse. Cloudflare deletes the data once it is no longer needed for these purposes.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with Cloudflare under Art. 28 GDPR. Cloudflare operates a global network of data centres, so data may also be transferred to the USA. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision for companies certified in this way (Art. 45 GDPR). In addition, the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) form part of the agreement.
Cookies
We do not set any cookies ourselves. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies, for example to distinguish human visitors from automated access (bots). These cookies serve solely to operate the website securely and are not used for analytics or advertising. The legal basis for storing and reading them is Section 25(2) No. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG); for the associated processing of personal data, it is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Contacting us by email
When you write to us by email, we process your email address, the content of your message and any personal data you provide in it in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or to pre-contractual steps, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in responding to your enquiry.
We delete your data once it is no longer needed to deal with your enquiry, unless statutory retention obligations prevent us from doing so.
Your rights
You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details given in the legal notice.
Right to object
Where we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21(1) GDPR). We will then no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The supervisory authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Alt-Moabit 59-61, 10555 Berlin, Germany, www.datenschutz-berlin.de.
Further information
We do not use automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, including profiling.
You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide us with personal data. However, without processing your IP address, this website cannot be delivered to you.
